Gang Beasts review

Gang Beasts is a multiplayer fighting game developed by Boneloaf for Windows, OS X, and Linux. The game was released on 18 October 2015. Gang Beasts is a 2D arcade fighting game, created by Boneloaf, that is played solo or in four-player free-for-all matches.

Gameplay

The gameplay consists of fighting one or more opponents, and punching, kicking, throwing, and biting them. One player can control one of eight different characters, and the other players control the other characters. The players choose the location to fight at, which can either be a square ring, a boxing ring, or a wrestling ring. The player who is in the red square (or "outbox") gets hit with a different color than the player who is in the green square (in the "inbox"). The player in the green square can move in the green square at a faster pace than the player in the red square. The characters are all animals, such as a human, a cow, a pig, a goat, a chicken, and a dog.

There are three rounds to a match, and the player who either inflicts the most damage or has the most health at the end of the third round wins. The player with the most health can either be the player who is in the red square or the player who is in the green square.

The player can attack their opponents by either punching them, kicking them, throwing them into the air, or biting them. If the player attacks their opponent with a throw, they can hold the opponent in the air for as long as they want. The player can use the environment to their advantage, such as by throwing their opponent into a cactus or into a pit of spikes.

Gang Beasts is a multiplayer fighting game that has players fight in a variety of match types. There are five different game modes that players can play, and each game mode has its own set of rules. The five different game modes are:

  • A group of players in a free-for-all.
  • One on one.
  • Team game.
  • A free-for-all with teams.
  • A free-for-all with teams, but players are pushed out of the arena when they die.

Graphics

Gang Beasts has a variety of different character and camera styles that players can choose from. For example, players can choose from a variety of different animals, such as a frog, a pig, or a cow. There is also a set of cartoon style characters, which are designed to be more kid-friendly. The graphics in Gang Beasts are blocky, pixelated, and low-resolution.
